That was an interesting link (about the brook trout). Not far from my home here in western Montana there is a small stream that is almost overrun with them. While the daily limit for other trout is only 5, the limit for brookies is 20 because they need to be thinned out. There’s nothing more fun than catching small brookies on a fly, and I have an old friend who just loves them for breakfast, so I make quite a few trips there.

I don’t know if I could stomach brookies for breakfast, but I would love to find streams near me where the brookies were that abundant.
